Medical Mission to Africa!

Dear Friends and Family,
I've been given the wonderful, and unexpected opportunity to join a medical mission to West Africa with Lighthouse Medical Missions! It has always been my passion to travel to underdeveloped nations to provide medical care for people in desperate need. I am so excited to have been given the chance to serve the wonderful people of Africa!
This March 27th- April 6th, my medical team will be traveling to West Africa to provide much needed medical care in the small country of Guinea-Bissau. The presence of our medical team will provide much needed support to people who have no access to free, organized health care. The team will treat wounds, provide vaccines and vitamins to children, treat various diseases, and even perform minor surgeries! We will be setting up our own medical clinics staffed with doctors, nurses, and volunteers, to treat as many people as possible while we are there.
Lighthouse Medical Missions has been serving the people of Africa through medicine and Christ since 1989. The vision of this wonderful organization is to bring the love of God to the sick and dying in the under-served nations of the world. Our team consists solely of volunteers who freely give their time and finances to reach the forgotten and neglected with the truth of the Gospel through medicine.
I am currently in my final year of nursing school and I'm so excited to apply what I've learned. In order for me to pursue my passion of serving the people of Guinea-Bissau, I need to raise $3,000 by February 15th. Would you be willing to stand with me financially in order to meet this goal?
