The Alberta Sex Positive Education and Community Centre.
ASPECC is a non-profit corporation that was founded by sex positive individuals with the goal of providing a Safe(r) space to support the public regardless of the wide range of human and sexual diversity among individuals, including a multitude of sexual identities, orientations, practices and gender presentations.
Sex positivity encourages open and safe communication, ethics, consent, empowerment of sexual minorities, and the resolution of various social problems that are associated with sexuality.
Structure:
ASPECC is a non-profit corporation that relies on grants, sponsorship and donations.We are governed by an organizational board which consists of individuals who are nominated and elected to their position on the board.
Our Mission:
To promote sex positive values and attitudes in the Greater Edmonton area, and to facilitate sex positive education and awareness in our community.
What We Do:
-We develop workshops and presentations on a wide variety of sex positive topics
-We facilitate workshops and presentations by other sex positive individuals and groups.
-We host sex positive meets and socials.
-We host sex positive events (Sex Positive Paint Night!)
-We share space with sex positive groups for their meetings, providing they follow our Safe(r) Space Policy.
-We network with other sex positive nonprofits to develop community programs that promote sex positive values

Help us keep our doors open! Since we’re completely volunteer run your donation will help us facilitate our events and help us reach more people.
