York County Veterans Memorial Park

We need a new home for the York County Veterans Memorial in York, SC.
For the past 30 years, The York County Veterans Advisory Council has coordinated a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Memorial's current location at a private cemetery. We also have an annual parade and ceremony on Veterans Day, held on private property as well. Both these properties have recently been sold, and their future availability for public use is uncertain. We need to acquire property in York to relocate the pictured Memorial, as well as a Purple Hearts Memorial, to a permanent public location, a place where we can hold these annual celebrations that honor the sacrifice our Veterans made for our freedom. There is currently no tribute of any kind to our US Veterans in the County Seat of York, and no existing site suitable for this use. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The open venue we envision would be ideal to use for other events as well, all of which would benefit the Citizens of York County.
We are applying for public funds, but have no monetary commitments so far from any government source, so we are asking for the help of EVERYONE to make this happen.
