Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis

Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis (RAMS) is a student-run organization here at the University of Missouri whose purpose is to raise money and provide service for the MS Institute of Mid-Missouri. RAMS was established in 1993 and runs from October to February of each year. We create opportunities for students and community members through educational and philanthropic events to get involved. Last year, we raised over $92,000 which was all donated to the MS Institute of Mid-Missouri, and this year we are aiming for $100k! Our money is raised through campus events, student participation, and generous gifts from national and local businesses. Last year I got the opportunity of helping out through my sorority Alpha Phi, but this year I get to serve on the Steering Committee! I am hoping to raise $250 to give back to this organization that has such a special place in my heart. I rock for my grandma who is no longer with us. My passion for service has brought me to be a part of this organization, and I am so happy that I have the opportunity to make a difference in these people's lives.
