Fair Game™ Film Fund

Dear Friends,
           As the saying goes, "Unless we mark history, we are condemned to repeat it." With that in mind, I appeal to you once again for your support in the completion of my second documentary, Fair Game™.
     The story is both a familiar, and unfamiliar, tale of Southern justice.
     Less than five years after the lynching of Emmett Till, a Black New Jersey woman moves heaven and earth to save the life of her own son.
     His troubles begin after his car breaks down in a Georgia county ranked second statewide for lynchings, a place where he's now  being held for the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl.
      Bound for the electric chair, the doomed vet witnesses  his mother close ranks with anyone who can help, including a New York City radio host, an Irish Catholic Congressman and two Black Georgia-based lawyers caught in a race against time.
     Slavery and lynchings didn't end in the 19th and 20th Century. As the Equal Justice Initiative argues, they simply evolved.
     If America is to ever achieve what it says it is, it must first come to terms with the truth of what has been committed against those they have enslaved. Only after taking responsibility for those injustices can we truly begin to reconcile.
       Fair Game™ offers an opportunity to take a candid look at  those  truths as part of a first step toward taking responsibility and acheiving reconciliation.
     But first thing is first. I need to finish the film. Now in the post production stages, the film project is in need of funding for the purpose of
* Logging and completion of the script;
* Completing the editing, mixing and mastering of the documentary; and,
* Acquiring permissions to utilize various images, clips and footage.
      Your donation at any level will help us to complete these elements of  the project.   Whether it's a dollar, ten dollars, a hundred or a thousand, no gift of support is too small.

 To learn more about film, please read the short synopsis of the film below, or you can view the film trailer. Thank you in advance.

And remember, as Winston Churchill said, "We make our living by what we get, but we make our life by what we give."

With warmest regards for your encouragement and support,
