Wheelchair Ramps for local Veterans

I belong to a group called the Veterans of Westland. The Veterans of Westland are here to assist active duty personnel, veterans & families with needed support either directly or by networking with others. Over the last few years we have been called upon to design and build wheelchair ramps for several disabled vets. Working with suppliers and sponsors we hope to provide modularly built ramps that can be placed at a disabled veterans home within weeks at no cost to the struggling veteran or their family. The ramps will remain the property of the Veterans of Westland so that when circumstances change and our veteran no longer requires a ramp it can be collected and made available for the next veteran in need. Our goal is to pre-build 8-10 of these systems to keep in circulation. Your gift will continue to bring comfort to veterans for years to come. Every little bit helps.
