Every morning when I wake up, I make the conscious effort to inflict grueling pain on my body. I strive to make sure every physical workout that I do, is at or above 100%.  My goal is to become the best possible athlete with the abilities I have been given. Training and striving to be in the best of shape is a passion that is both a tremendous amount of work but is also extremely satisfying. But, have you ever sat back and thought about the children in this world that do not have the same opportunity; are not able to walk, run, or play?  Have you ever thought about how difficult it must be for a child with disabilities or extreme sickness to wonder if today is their only chance at survival?  These children do not wake up and ask for the pain their bodies must endure due to their illness or disabilities. These children would love to be able to beat their illness and disabilities and to bring inspiration and hope to others.

Hello my name is Cheyenne McNutt and I am an active competitor in triathlons and I am also a cyclist for an amateur cycling team based out of Portland Indiana called Aero Cat. Though my desire is to be number one in my age division while competing in triathlons and on my cycling team, I am also passionate about raising awareness to childhood illnesses and diseases by raising money for Riley Hospital for Children.  My goal is to sponsor or help one or two families that need money in order to help handle their daily life struggles.  Imagine for just one moment how many families are out there with children that have life threatening diseases that are in a financial crunch?  For just one moment, put yourself in their situation and think how hard it would be to watch your child fight to overcome their illness or disease yet also know the bills keep coming.

This is where I come in to play.  My plan is to call or meet with a representative from Riley and have them help me find a family (or two depending how much money I can raise), that can receive funds that I will raise to help them with their daily living expenses.

I feel that my life has been so blessed; rich in spirit and love. When I look at my lovely daughter, she inspires me to want to help others. My wife supports my decision to help others and we both know this is the right thing to do since we have been blessed with so many opportunities. However, it cannot be done alone.

With your help, we can all achieve the same common goal and you can have the assurance that you have helped a child along with the family to help relieve some of the financial burden they must endure.

My goal is to raise as much money as possible for Riley Children hospital through "Fight Hard; Win Big" through gofundme.com. By supporting my efforts to achieve to be the best of the best, you will also be providing financial stability for the children and families at the hospital.

Though I train hard and prepare myself for races, there is also a financial burden.  Some may not realize, but expenses can get up in to the thousands.  For example, each half Ironman that I compete in is $200.00 - $250.00 for the entry fee alone and is typically doubled for a full Ironman.  Each domestic (in the lower 48 of the United States) races entry fee can range anywhere between $40.00- $60.00. However, there are also several behind the scenes fees that include the cost of equipment, gasoline, repair, coaching and gym expenses, airfare, and nutritional supplements. Needless to say, the cost can be overwhelming.

By donating to "Fight Hard; Win Big", you will be helping me achieve my goal and fulfill my passion to help the children at Riley Hospital.

My promise to you is to post bi-weekly updates on how things are going with my training, winning success, and more importantly the funds that are being raised for Riley.  You will also have the assurance that .60 cents of every dollar will be going straight to the foundation at Riley Children Hospital.

Let us start today in helping  these children to be able to live a life that is without pain and to help the families live a more worry free life filled with opportunities to watch their children grown healthy and strong!
