Help Bring Yoga to Bridgeport, CT

Namaste & Hello !
My name is Stacey Turechek-I am a Yoga Alliance certified Vinyasa and Lotus Flow Yoga Teacher, Holistic Health Counselor, and Artist.
I am humbly asking my family, friends & the GoFundMe public for funding to open Great Heart Yoga Studio, a much needed and wildly creative & inclusive yoga studio in downtown Bridgeport, CT.
Can you believe, there is NO OTHER yoga studio in Bridgeport? ! This will be THE place !

For the last 20+ years, I have dreamed about opening a wellness center. My first steps on this path were my studies of Holistic Nutrition with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Next I started my studies of Yoga Asana and Theory. I currently manage a very busy yoga studio.
The time is NOW! Bridgeport needs Great Heart Yoga and Great Heart Yoga needs Bridgeport. We need to lean on each other and grow together!I believe it will be an amazing partnership between GHY and the city. Together we will create magical transitions and opportunities. I believe in myself and my knowledge and experience and I ask that you do the same!


Great Heart  Yoga will offer a safe and open-minded space to practice the many dimensions of yoga. 
Having this studio within downtown Bridgeport  will of course, provide physical yoga classes for all levels,  yet will be so much more valuable to the city and neighboring areas. Our teachings will foster healing, growth and empowerment, thereby nurturing the development of a vibrant and thriving yogic community.

Great Heart Yoga Studio  will stimulate & support local charities, lead city wide clean-up events, offer outdoor yoga practices, musical/artistic events and meditations. We will create & develop fund-raising activities and support many other types of outreach and development efforts in a city that needs some LOVE.

Guess what? I have found the home for GHY!

 Soooooo...as you can see -it needs some renovations & attention. (Use your imagination here:) )
It has lots of windows and access to outdoor public space, secure parking and SO MUCH character...
It is perfect! 
With your help, we can transform this into an amazing practice space! Any monies raised would be used for floors, lighting, props, and anything else needed to bring this beautiful building back to life ! I am looking to open GHY in the spring of 2016, so funding is needed as soon as possible. No amount is too small . The time is now.
