Let’s Give Back To Nica

Over the last 10 years Lydia and I have traveled with many of you to Nicaragua. We have grown to not only love the country, but also the people. We have formed deep relationships in various communities over the years. The country is currently experiencing civil unrest and many of the communities we have worked with are in economic distress. While we have tried to raise awareness here in the US, we also feel like we need to do something else. The communities and families that patiently worked with us many,many times (like Jose the Potter, Marisol and the preschool, Dr. Paniagua and the clinic, David and the coffee farm, Redes de Solidaridad and the primary school) could use some monetary help. That is why we created this GoFundMe page. Many of you have graduated and are working, and like us can be distracted by family and life. You may not be aware of the plight of many of the people you met in Nica. But we know how special your experiences were in Nicaragua and hope you would consider a small donation. And if have never been but know Lydia and myself, you know what our trips to Nica mean to us- and how much we love the communities we work with. ALL the money we collect will get divided among the communities. Thank you in advance!
