Open Heart Surgery bills

Next Wednesday December 12th, Maureen is having open heart surgery to repair or replace a mitral valve.   The medical bills will be unimaginable.  We will be able to pay these over time.  But, the immediate costs and extensive loss of time from work, will take its toll.  The last thing I want to do is ask for help.  If I don’t, the damage may not be repairable. Thank goodness we started buying our 9 yr old Christmas and Birthday (12/31) presents earlier in the year.

I know that the holidays is when everyone’s budget is already stretched thin.  I ask that you share this with as many people as possible.  The “many hands make light work” philosophy is quite possibly the only saving grace we have.
