Hurricane Michael Relief Effort

Donation protected
Volunteers with the New Sharon Fire & Rescue Association will be deploying to the Florida panhandle to provide relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. This trip is completely manned through the volunteers from the New Sharon Fire Department and other local agencies. This trip, like many in the past, is funded completely by donations.  Funds are used to deploy to the area and sustain the relief effort for the duration of the trip including purchase of necessary items and/or equipment needed to complete the task. We have previously funded and manned multiple relief trips in the aftermath of natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes in areas such as New York, Louisiana, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Mississippi as well as locally in Iowa.  At this time, our final location is to be determined. We anticipate this to be in the panhandle of Florida. Further updates will be made available. Tentatively we will deploy on 11/1 and return on 11/11. Public support of our relief efforts is what makes this possible. Your support and donations are sincerely appreciated by the New Sharon Fire & Rescue Association and the victims we serve! New Sharon Fire & Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible.
