4th Grade Field Trip to Jamestown

In order to support the curriculum of Fourth Grade Virginia Studies, the students of John Adams Elementary School in Alexandria, Virginia outside of Washington, DC, are raising money to attend a field trip to Jamestown and Yorktown in May.  This trip will serve as a great opportunity to reinforce what the students have studied, give them hands-on experiences and interactions with live historians, and even help get them ready for the Virginia SOL exams at the end of the school year! The field trip will be a long, full day excursion, and we’ll be traveling by tour bus leaving at 7:00am and returning at 7:00pm. John Adams Elementary School is a Title 1 school with a student population that is made up of over 50% English Language Learners. Most of the 4th grade students have never been to Jamestown and Yorktown, and we cannot afford to go on this trip without donations. Please help out students to have this opportunity. We are all grateful for your help.
