Hello! We are a group of students from Barrington High School and Station Middle School who are fundraising for a mobile food packaging program. 60010 Feeds Kids has a team of 46 students who coordinate and raise the funds and organize the food packing event.
In 2017 the Station NJHS class raised money and packaged almost 12,000 meals for hungry children. In 2018, we continued the program and worked with the new NJHS class. Together we raised money and packaged over 21,000 meals! In 2019 we added a high school board to grow the program and mentor Station Middle School’s new NJHS class, and raised money for over 39,000 meals. Our goal for this year is to increase it to over 75,000 meals!
As always, we are working with Kids Around The World’s One Meal program. This is a food packing program that brings together a team of people to help meet the nutritional needs of starving children. This program helps kids in 20 different countries including the US. More can be learned about this program at: http://www.katw.net/onemeal/
