Emmy the Eagle: Red Wolf Sanctuary

Donation protected

Wounded, exhausted and caked in mud after being caught in a leg hold trap in Rush County Indiana, Emmy the Eagle was transported to Red Wolf Sanctuary in Rising Sun Indiana for rehabilitation and release. Two weeks have passed and Emmy continues to grow stronger each day thanks to the TLC of our volunteer staff providing warm showers to remove the mud and a steady diet of mice, deer meat and antibiotics.

Emmy Wants To Be Free! We are optomistic regarding the improvement in her condition and anticipate her release to occur sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. With that in mind we are requesting donations to purchase a GoPro camera in order to document her return to freedom. Subsequent to Emmy's commemorative release the GoPro will  be used to document and promote additional rehabilitation success stories and other notable events occuring at the Sanctuary.  All donations received over the requested amount will be directly applied to the costs incurred in caring for Emmy and the other Native American Wildlife species residing at Red Wolf Sanctuary.

Any assistance that you are able to provide  us in achieving this goal is greatly appreciated! Thank You from your friends at Red Wolf Sanctuary :)
