Replacing stolen rent money

On 12/01/17 our rent money was stolen when My boyfriend fell outside a Local gas station and dropped his wallet. He didn’t realize it fell out of his pocket and when he noticed it was gone and returned, it was to late. Wallet was found in the garbage can and the cash was gone. Looking for help to replace the rent money to avoid eviction. Thank you for any and all help!
