For our son- Liam

Donation protected
For those who don’t know our story our soon to be born son (who we’ve named Liam- to be born June 12th 2018) has been diagnosed with transposition of the great arteries- otherwise known as TGA. This is a rare 1 in 5000 heart condition where his 2 main arteries to his heart are around backward and he would not survive without open heart surgery soon after birth. We have had to travel 3 and a half hours with or 1 year old daughter to Melbourne for the medical care and attention he needs at the royal women’s and royal children’s hospital. Whilst the travel cost and accomodation costs are covered our bills at home are piling up. We were originally sure we would be able to withdraw from our super but that seems to have fallen through now so we are unsure as to what to do in order to pay our bills back home. We may be in Melbourne for anywhere from 5 weeks if all goes well with baby Liam and if things don’t go well then we don’t know how long we’ll be away from home meaning Cameron unable to work. He was also unable to get paid leave from work as he has not been at his new job long enough therefore no income and Jessica on minimum Centrelink support. We would never usually ask for help but in this stressful time with our son in his life or death battle the last thing we want to stress about is money. Any help would be most grateful from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you, Cameron and Jessica.
