Sisk Family Adoption And Travel Fund

Hey y’all! On Friday, June 1st, our family learned of a sweet baby girl in Ohio who was in the hospital, waiting for an adoptive family. While we had originally planned to adopt from foster care...we decided to take a leap of faith and left for Ohio just days later! The second we walked into the room and saw her sweet little face, we were head over heels in love!! We are literally the luckiest people on earth ❤️Baby K was born prematurely and it was discovered that she has a rare genetic disorder called Stromme Syndrome. Because of this, she has required hospitalization since she was born in March. Baby K is making amazing strides and she blows us away everyday with her fighting spirit!I have been in Ohio with Baby K for nearly 2 weeks but with 6 children at home and a full time job, Greg needed to return to Oregon on June 12th. Since there have been no rooms available at Ronald McDonald house, expenses for hotel, rental car, food (the hotel doesn’t even have a microwave) and missed work for Greg are adding up fast and we are asking for help so I am able to stay here in Ohio until Baby K is discharged....hopefully within the next 2 weeks. We have also realized that Greg will need to fly back to help us home as she will require a bit of equipment to travel :)We are thankful beyond words for your prayers, friendship and encouraging words during the process of getting Baby K home! We love you all ❤️
