help me buy a new phone

I'm a 17 year old trans person living in low income housing with a single, disabled mother. We currently have absolutely zero income and I can't work until I turn 18. 
I've been using a refurbished iPhone 4 since 2015, and it is on its last legs. Beyond having outdated software that makes using everyday apps to communicate difficult, frequently dying at random battery percentages, it is physically falling apart: the glass on the back is cracked and missing in areas and both the home and power button do not work.
A new phone would both improve my quality of life by helping me stay in touch with my friends and boyfriend, give me access to apps for discounts on food, etc., and make me happy overall. As we all know, functioning in today's society is hard without a functioning smartphone.
Without help, I will have to wait until at least mid September to get a job, struggling to get one without a functioning phone and having no way to stay in touch with an employer. I can function without one, but I would be eternally grateful if given the opportunity to have a new and functional phone. Thank you.
