Mooch's Cancer Benefit

Steve Schmitt Inc opened this page as a donation site for a very deserving friend and co-worker who is currently in cancer treatment. Bryan “Mooch” Horner was diagnosed with cancer early in November and has been in and out of treatment for two months. Bryan is the primary provider and caring husband and father of three children in Pocahontas, IL. Bryan has worked for Steve Schmitt INC for five years. He is truly a great asset not only our company but to the many individuals he helps with their car needs. His work ethic is second to none as he works open to close six days a week for Steve Schmitt Inc in Highland, IL.

As you may know, cancer treatment and recovery is costly. Along with the inability to bring income in for your family mounting debt can seem bleak when we need hope and a positive outlook for recovery. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, this gives us a great opportunity to show our love and support for our friend.

With the generous support of people like you, we will be able to help Bryan not only to meet essential daily needs, but to work toward a recovery.

We will be hosting a chicken and beer benefit on February 13, 2016.  It will be at the Highland Fairgrounds Expo Hall from 6pm to Midnight. The Chapman Brothers band will provide entertainment. Tickets are $20 a person and available at Steve Schmitt Inc in Highland, IL. All proceeds will go to Bryan and his family.
