Nick Mevoli Memorial Fund

$8,150 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 72 people in 57 months
Nicholas "Nick" Lawrence Mevoli III had a passion for being in the water. He set many national records as a freediver. What most people don't know is the kind, humble heart he had. During his many visits for competitions at the Blue Hole he assisted at the local St. Peters and St. Paul's Catholic Church in Clarencetown, Long Island Bahamas He would shuttle elderly and school children as well as helped in rebuilding their church roof damaged in a hurricane. There is a newly created charity fund, in his name and remembrance, in which all monies will go directly to that church to help rebuild the physical building and also assist the local families in Clarencetown.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations for Nicholas's charity. All donations will go direct, dollar for dollar, to St. Peter's and St. Paul's Catholic Church in Clarencetown, Long Island Bahamas.

Good Day everyone! When I first posted this fund on behalf of my family in memory of my brother, Nick Mevoli, to replace any flowers for his funeral I never thought in a million years we would reach the original goal set at $10,000. I actually lowered it to $5,000 to be more realistic. Now, two months and 66 donations later, the fund has reached to almost $10,000!!! This is due to the loyal network of Nick's friends, family and colleagues as well as the fundraisers being offered in his name. We can't tell you in words how appreciative we are! Thank you so much! We will be working soon with the church in the Bahamas to have a day of celebration when we present that large donation check to them on Nick's behalf! Stay tuned!! We will keep you posted. Thank you again for your generosity! From Nick's family

We are $20.00 away from reaching $5,000.00 in Nick's Memorial Fund. If you tried to donate earlier this month and were unable to due to the gofundme site not being open to do so, now is your chance! We would love to reach this goal for his church. Thank you!
