PLEASE help Jamie !

My name is Mary and I am  Jamie's friend as well a retired co-worker.  My husband and I love Jamie and her  family very much  and we along with so many realize help is needed at this time.
Because of that reason this page is being set up for Jamie Layne. Jamie is an amazing human being ,with a huge heart full of love and joy for life.
Jamie is from Chattanooga Tn and that is where her family resides to this day. Jamie is a Special Education teacher at Fairview Middle School and is decaded to her job and her students! She loves her family so much and always there for them and her friends. On Sunday January 3rd Jamie was rushed to St. Thomas hospital will sever stomach pains. She was admitted with gallbladder and pancreatic  issues. She was in a regular room for two days only to be admitted into the ICU floor with acute pancreatitis and fluid in her lungs. Thursday they removed fluid from the lungs. This gave her some relieve. 
 Jamie's family has been by her side and will continue until she goes home. The doctors say Jamie has a long road to recovery. Since the fluid removal she now has lost total function to the back side of her pancreas. Doctor says odds are she will be a diabetic along with other issues. She will be out of work for a while and will have to pay her insurance premiums along with all her monthly bills and expenses. Unfortunately she will be uncompensated and with no money coming in but the bills still have to be met. She would never ask for help of any kind and I know there are friends and family that would like to help her get through this tough time in her life. 
  Doctors have said she will be ICU for a least two weeks before entering a regular room. Doctors have said this will be a long extensive recovery time. Any help will be very much appreciated by Jamie and her family!
