Help 5 year old Noah with epilepsy

At only 7 weeks old, Noah had brain surgery. He has spent his entire life since then, under the constant threat of having a seizure. Even with stronger prescriptions and increased doses of his medication, the seizures keep occurring about twice a week. He just had one last night :-( A recent appointment with Noah's neurologist revealed he may have to undergo brain surgery again within the next year. The odds of success aren't great. One final option is being considered before surgery- the use of medical marijuana to alleviate and prevent his seizures. This form of treatment is still experimental (especially on children) and definitely not covered by his insurance. His neurologist recommended a guy and his parents will be pursuing this option over the weeks to come. In the mean time, Noah and his parents will be making trips down to Boston for other tests and to begin the process to prepare for surgery in the future. This incredible young family of four- 2 girls and 2 boys, are just living within their means right now. However, the possibility of a new treatment for Noah which has not been approved by their insurance company will be more than the family can handle financially.
