Being able to get up and go! We probably all take it for granted. What about people who are restricted to a wheelchair? How easy is it for them to get in and out of their home?
A small group of guys in Franklin County Florida want to help folks who are wheelchair bound. We have skills and time but not a lot of money.
We build wheelchair ramps!!
In the past four years we have built in excess of 20 ramps. The people we build ramps for are not wealthy. Many are elderly and battling life threating illnesses.
On November 30, David Ferrell and I will be paddling the Apalachicola River. This will be 108 mile paddle. We are asking anyone who wants to help to donate to this Gofund account. A 100% of the money generated will be used to buy materials to build ramps. Many times we have projects but no money to build and the ramps are not built until monies for the build can be raised.
