My name is Missy and for those that know me know that family means more then anything in the world to me.
Roughly 3 yrs ago I made the hardest move of my life. To travel west for my fiances job. Since my family is much much closer then the average family just saying it was hard is an understatement! I went from having my fiance home every night to having him gone for 10 days straight and only having him home for 3 days at a time. I also went from seeing family every day to seeing them once a year during the summer. I cried ALOT for a LONG time!! And sometimes still do.
Being a mom of 2 and spending the majority of these 3 yrs alone with just them really makes me worry that my kids won't understand how much family they really have that loves them more then words can say.
This year it is just not financially possible for us to get home and the more I try and except the fact that I won't be able to see my family for another year the more it breaks my heart. I think of how big my nieces and nephews will be if I don't see them for another yr and how big my kids will be by the time my family can see them. Kids grow and change so fast and I want to be apart of their life and I want my kids to have a bond with my family like I have. I don't want my mom and step dad to miss every milestone thier grandkids have.
My daughter and niece spent the first 5 yrs of thier life growing up like sisters and would do anything to see eachother. Family is so important, More important then anything else and time is something you are never garenteed so this is my last ditch effort to try and make it happen and I hope with the support from all of you we can make it home.
If you could find it in your hearts to help get us home we would be forever grateful and appreciate it more then you will ever know
