500 miles for IJM
Don protégé
Hi,
When I was 20 I co-founded a non profit that existed to combat human trafficking. It was a wonderful time in my life and I'd like to believe we did a lot of good.
Over the years, I realized I needed to make money in order to survive as an adult. I put the company on the back burner and pursed a career. I'm still doing this. I love it but have always wanted to continue the fight against slavery.
November 26th I'll be making the trek from San Francisco to Los Angeles via a 1963 vintage Raleigh bicycle. I've never ridden my bike over 30 miles. It will be beautiful and probably miserable...
The physical pain will be a healthy reminder for what these humans in slavery have to deal with everyday. It's absolutely nothing in comparison, but it's something.
International Justice Mission in my opinion is the best organization in existence fighting modern day slavery. It baffles me that slavery exists still but it does, and we gotta help them in their mission.
I'm trying to raise $10 per mile....leaving us at $5,000
If you can, please donate. The world is pretty damn messed up right now. We need some good.
To learn more about the work IJM is doing please visit their website:

By all means, feel free to donate directly to them. Once I get to LA, I’ll withdraw the money and send to them. Proof of donation will be provided :)
Lastly, if this cause doesn't speak to you please consider donating to somebody in need. Whether it's the California wild fires, a mass shooting victim, or simply your neighbor.
Thanks everybody. Stay sane out there.
