Trying To Rebuild My Life
I hesitated for a really long time before making this, but a lot of friends suggested I try it. On October 3rd, 2017, me and my fiancee where in an extremely violent car crash while on vacation to see her family. I don't remember anything about it, I was knocked unconcious, cut out with the jaws of life, and airlifted to a nearby hospital. When I awoke a day or two later, I found out that the love of my life had been killed in the wreck. I just remember grabbing onto her mother and screaming and crying my heart out at the top of my lungs for what felt like hours. The rest of the month is mostly a blur, both from the concussion and the immense shock and greif. The future mother of my kids, my soul mate, and my best friend has been taken from me. My life has been shattered, I spend many hours every day crying until my chest hurts with the pain of losing my other half. I have been struggling ever since this wreck, but I have slowly returned to work since the double vision from my head injury went away. I still can't pick up most objects with my left hand, and my left foot is still numb, with left knee pain (which causes me to walk with a small limp.) Money has been the last concern of mine with losing the love of my life, but as reality begins to set in I realize I went from 4 incomes to 1 (her 2 jobs and my 2 jobs, to just a single job for myself.) I am trying to stay ahead on bills, but I am still behind on a lot of things. I had to spend a lot of money recently just to get tires for my car to be safe when driving to work, and that isn't including everything else wrong with the car (fuel pump, alternator etc.) If anyone is willing to help in any small way, it would mean the world to me. The more I can lift these debts away from my shoulders, the more I can try to get back to living my life, as difficult as it is without her here.
