Help Marlene

We are reaching out to everyone... We could use any help you could give us... Our beloved coworker at Our Hospital, Marlene Leiva is being deported back to Nicaragua. She moved to the United States almost 20 years ago from Nicaragua. She has been a loved and respected part of our Labor and Delivery family for almost 10 years. After renewing her visa every 18 months religiously for 2 decades she received some devastating news...this time, because of the new administration, the USA has declined to renew her visa. This means that Marlene, who is an invaluable asset to our team/unit/family/country, will be forced to work her last shift on January 5th and return to Nicaragua. Marlene has expressed how upset she is about this as the US and our hospital has become her home. She will be leaving her sister and 80 year old mother behind in Colorado. As you may know Nicaragua has one of the highest crime rates in the world. Marlene also expressed it is nearly impossible to find work in her country as most wont hire someone her age. We are reaching out to anyone that could possibly help her.
