Help Us Keep Our Home

After going back and forth with myself and trying to get over the embarrassment of this situation, I come to you as humble as possible. Recently, my husband and I lost our jobs. To add insult to injury, our van'a transmission went out. Without either of us working, bills piled up. We both did odd end jobs to try to get by but it wasn't enough. But now, we both have new jobs. They don't pay much but between the both of us, we can make ends meet. But, we're two months behind on rent. I've applied for housing assistance. I've reached out to EVERY resource in our town. It's either a wait or no funds. We don't have anywhere to go and we have 3 small kids. I'm not asking for the full amount. I'm only asking for "some help". I'm holding back tears and swallowing my pride as I type this. If anybody can find it in your hearts. We can't be homeless, especially with the school year starting. Anything will help.
