a safe new adapted van for my son

Donation protected
I adopted my son when he was five weeks old his mother a young girl of 15 gave him to me. My son is now 26 years old and has always stayed with me. He was born with muscular dystrophie ; I was told by the doctors that he will live to be a teenager or a young adult. My son has lost quite a bit of strenght over the past years. He still can eat by bending forwards to bring the food to his mouth  as he  has no strenghts to lift up his arms. I provide for all his needs from washing him, dressing him up and  attending to his very basic needs.  We lived in the Arctic for 32 years but when he was in ICU in Ottawa I made the promess to move south if he was to live as he wanted to move to a warmer place. We are now living in Quebec as I retired from my work to enable him to be in a warmer place. My savings went to renovate my house ; retirement may be a good thing but money is often a problem. My son is the most wonderful person you can ever meet. He is highly social and never complain about his sickness he has accepted it and make the best of it. As he seems to be depress lately we went   to St-Tite to take part in the Western Festival and from there we went to Ottawa to spend a few days with my grand-son that I raised . My son and my grand-son are like brothers as they grew up together. On our way back home I lost the gas tank as it fells from my old van and was therefore draging it on the road. Lucky for us we were at exit 12 and were able to stop at a gas station. My van was remorqued to a  garage in town and my son drove to the nearest  motel as their was no adapted taxi in that small town. In our bad luck we were lucky things could have been a lot worse.  One of his dreams is to travel while he still have enough energy to do so but with my actual van I am taking chances every time I am on the road.  I am a widow of many years that raised alone my daughter, her first son,and my adoptive son. If I could( like any other parent) I will give him the moon. While browsing on the internet for used adapted vans somehow I end up on that site and decided why not.
