American Legion Post 56 Rehab

Our American Legion Post has been in existence since 1919. The American Legion itself was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans. Unfortunately, our aging facility is in dire need of repairs/upgrades. Our ice machine needs replaced. We have poorly working computers and printers that need replacing. We also need to replace our Tethered Flags that we have set up in the cemetary and other places in town. Our carpet is stained beyond repair and our generator was stolen a year ago. Please help us help more Veterans and their families in our community.
