Our story: My husband and I are raising money for our four legged furry child, Parmel. Why the name Parmel you may ask? My golf enthusiast husband is a huge fan of Arnold Palmer. When we met in college I was unable to properly pronounce Palmer and has always rolled off my tongue as Parmel. Parmel the dog entered our lives soon after.
Parmel is a rescue dog from NC and has filled our lives with more love than you can imagine. We rescued him at age 2 and have cherished every day since. Parmel is a 8 year old American Staffordshire Terrier that has been diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis, an infection in his Central Nervous System which caused paralysis in his back legs. After several days of being in the hospital and with the help of professionals he is back home recovering. Parmel will be on many medications to beat the infection and help with the pain. In the near future he will also need physical therapy to get hine legs in motion again.
We are devoted with open hearts to properly take care of Parmel and will do what it takes to get him walking again. This has put us in a difficult financial situation and could use your donations. We would be so greatful and blessed with any amount of donations.
