Chemo Care Packages

Sadly, most of us have been touched by cancer in some form. Not only does the disease and treatment affect the body, but also the spirit of the patient. Chemotherapy and radiation can have just as much of an emotional impact as the physical. My cousin, Lilie, who had stage four leukemia went through the everyday battle of trying to remain positive. By the grace of God, she is now in remission. Lilie showed me just how important it is to keep the spirits of cancer patients up, which is the reason why I decided to be making Chemo Care Packages for my senior project. I will be collecting funds (along with donations from companies) to put together packages for children undergoing cancer treatments. This will include items such as stuffed animals, craft supplies, and blankets! Thank you everyone for your support
