I am a Veterans Advocate and Founder of Americas Vets Helping Vets For Life a Non-Profit Organization . We are raising money to bring Veterans, Military Personnel and their families to Washington DC on Saturday May 28th 2016 To Rally, and Speak At The Upper Senate Park North of The Capitol in Washington, DC. We are inviting all Veterans, Military Personnel, andtheir Families to attend. After the speeches we will March down Constitution Avenue with signs and placards and bullhorns to bring awareness The Nation to change the way Veterans are treated when they leave the Military exspecially the way our Elderly, Disabled, Women, and Minority Veterans are treated at VA Hospitals, Lack of Affordable Housing for Veterans, lack of living wage jobs, Years of Red Tape Veterans Face when applying for VA Benefits, Lack of Education, and No Dental and Poor Service at VA Hospitals. These same issues were addressed during the Republican Debate on Saturday February 6th. The money will be used for Equipment, Food, Sound Systems, Advertisement, and Lodging, Security, Placards, Caps and T-shirts. The Event will be from 9:00am-6:00pm. As a Veteran myself this would mean so much to me and my fellow Veterans who raised their hand and took a solemn oath that we would die for our Country. Some did. We were told if anything happened to us while we were in the Military when we got out we would be well taken care of. That was a lie. We have to fight for everything we get as if we were still in the Military. That's why suicides among Veterans are so high with 22 a day and sexual trauma among men and women are very high in and out of the Military. Some have lost all hope and trust in the VA. Let's stop the agony and suffering of so many of your family members who are Veterans by making a donation. We are not looking for a hand-out but a hand-up to help ourselves. THANK-YOU AND GOD BLESS.
