$40k for 40 Years

St. Joe’s Soup Kitchen is an independent, all-volunteer organization that serves 400-500 meals every Saturday to New York City’s homeless and hungry. We have been in operation for 40 years, relying on volunteers, local businesses, and the generosity of the community to help us continue our mission of providing hot, nutritious meals to those in need.

We are a lean-operating organization that needs your support. For every $2.00 you donate, we provide a person in need with a nutritious and delicious meal –- usually consisting of a main dish, a side, salad, fruit, coffee, drink, and bread with butter.

We are located at Casserly Hall below St. Joseph’s Church at 371 Sixth Avenue (at Washington Place).

In celebration of serving the community for 40 years, our goal is to fundraise $40k. As our organization is 100% volunteer, all proceeds will go directly to funding operations. Your donations will ensure that our very lean organization will exist for 40+ more years.
