Disaster Relief Trip Puerto Rico
Donation protected
In December I will be collaborating with Sacred Heart University volunteer services to go down to Puerto Rico to help rebuild communities and national parks after the devastation sustained from hurricane Maria in 2017 that remain in ruin. As a full time Nurse Practitioner student at SHU, I aim to also incorporate health care initiatives, illness prevention and wellness promotion to communities that do not have the access needed to flourish and thrive. Unfortunately, between active tuition costs, student loans for my previous degrees, general life survival expenses, and only working part time to be able to complete the full time course work and clinical hours for my MSN FNP program, it is very difficult for me to be able to afford the expenses of partaking in this incredible program. Any donation of support will be so appreciated. A little can go a long way! Spreading kindness to others is the greatest gift we can ever truly give!
