Helping Children In Fiji

I'm currently a student about to start my second year in sixth form. Afterwards I'm taking a gap year in the hopes that I can volunteer abroad and help with different projects. My aim is to support a variety of communities around the world.
In rural fiji 75% of children live below the poverty line and only 50% of families have access to safe drinking water. The issues affecting children are not immediately visible to tourists as many see the paradise within fiji and not the poverty. The donations from this campaign would go towards a month long trip to Fiji with Think Pacific. They offer volunteer experiences for young individuals to help children living in poverty. Part of the trip would include me living with fijian families whilst volunteering in a local school. Think Pacific supports 10,000 children each year and has contributed towards a 15% increase in school attendance as well as 50+ teachers trained annually.
Other than the necessary food and transport costs, a large amount of the money would go towards a variety of things mainly schools in fiji helping them improve their teaching and the school life for the children (20,000+). Specifically, the money would go towards resources, staff training which would improve teaching in schools and the level of education children receive and also water sanitation and hygiene improving health as well as medical care. The money would provide long term support for children in Fiji whilst also creating a high quality experience for myself where I can have a meaningful impact on peoples lives.
