Hey, my name is Lee.
I am a married FtM transman from Michigan.
I set up this gofundme to help raise money for my top surgery(Breast tissue removal). I am working the best I can to pay my own way and not inconvenience my spouse or take away from our living wages, but need to ask for a bit of help to speed me on the road.
I have been doing a lot of research on surgeons and procedures and as I have a larger chest I have chosen to receive a double incision mastectomy with grafts. I am currently undecided on surgeons as I am currently looking into a couple of more local surgeons. I would have liked to go to Dr. Garramone but I doubt I will be able to ever get my surgery if I choose him.
As a larger chested individual this surgery will greatly help me with my self confidence, self image, mental and physical health. I go through a large amount of stress, anxiety and frustration everyday because I don’t feel at home in my body. I get to the point of feeling like I want to tear my chest off and even have intense moments of depression and anger about it. I turn all this inward and almost make myself sick or go through periods of listlessness and self loathing.

Everyone who donates will be getting a personalized thank you card. I am also working on additional gifts for those people who donate $50 or more and will update with those as they come to be.
