For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
I operate a home repair and remodeling business which I perform various upkeeps associated with owning a home, in a small but generous community in Pemberville, Ohio. A community with people who are eager to help their neighbors.
Unfortunately, I find that many of our neighbors find themselves in a position where they cannot afford to pay for basic services such as plumbing, electrical or heating repairs. It is true that many times the position these same people find themselves in are due to their own lack of financial planning but does that mean that they do not deserve help? A helping hand. We have all been in a position where we cannot do something on our own.
As I look back through all my own trials and tribulations, the good times and not so good times, I am reminded of all the people that God has brought into my life. I am very blessed with friends and family to turn to but not all of us are in that position.
I will provide my services, free of charge but I hope that you will help me raise money to cover supplies needed to make basic repairs for those less fortunate.
Let God’s Light shine through in all that you do.
