American Challenge 2017

Hello , I'm taking part in the American challenge in august 2017, which involves many tasks and challenges. The expirence starts with a week long 75mile hike across the Appalachian trail and the smokey mountains of Tennessee.  After this expedition we start our work with the boys and girls club of American, working in the environment tidying up and rebuilding the trails, to make them easier to walk on and more sturcteraly sound, by creating steps along the trail. A lot of our time in America will be spent doing community volunteer work along side the boys and girls club of America. On completion of the American challenge I will be award with a john muir award which is and award for environmental work and it is very prestigious.

in the coming months I will be doing a verity of fundraising exercises such as,  climbing the same amount of steps as they were in the twin towers.
