Support Roberta Miller And Family
Journal entry by Roberta Miller — 13 minutes ago
Surgery took place last week to remove and complete a full biopsy on 1 of 4 suspicious lymph nodes. Results came through yesterday, not as positive as we had hoped for. Negative for lymphoma, negative for infection, but positive for abnormal cells -CANCER. My lymph node is off to the Mayo clinic now for further testing to decide if the colon cancer has metastasized to this new area or if we are dealing with a secondary cancer diagnosis. It was a pretty tearful day yesterday getting the news, Reggie always knows how to comfort me and help me see past the bad, and into the good. I don't know what I would do along this journey without him. He is my rock, my bestfriend and my biggest love, I thank god for him every single day. As I've mentioned to some close friends yesterday, the tears will ease up and go away and then I'll be in stealth mode, ready to do what I need to do. A big thank you to my family and friends who continue to surround us with your love and support, your phone calls and text mean the world to us. Thanks to the many who have helped by donating to the gofundme or mailed a donation directly to us. Without your help, this would be a much more difficult journey to walk thru. Our words can never express our thanks enough to all of you. So what's next, right? Now we wait for Mayo results, resume chemo, then map out a new plan to get rid of the cancer in this new area. Be it surgery, radiation, or a different chemo, I'm ready to embrace it and get the fight going.
If you would still like to donate, you have 3 options to choose from.
1. Directly through gofundme.
2. Any wells Fargo, just ask for Roberta Miller Cancer fund account
3. Mailed to 1020 Westwood Drive, Riverton, 82501
*prayers are just as appreciated and as useful as any monetary donation*
Update will follow after we have heard from my oncologist on the mayo clinic biopsy.
With all my love,
