I will be raising money for VETPAW (Veterans Empowered to Protect African Wildlife) for the purpose to attend a South African professional run tracking course. VETPAW is an organization consisting of military veterans, committed to preventing and countering illegal poaching of elephant and rhino on the African continent.
VETPAW is a non-profit, and as such, runs purely off of donations. The tracking course would enable me to learn key tracking skills and bushcraft specific to the South African environment. This will refine my tracking skills, enabling me to advance my performance as a team member, and to allow fellow team members to learn additional techniques. This accumulation of skills will allow us to become even more effective in the fight against rhino and elephant poachers.
