NYC SleepOut For The Homeless

This Friday 3/24/17 I will be sleeping in the cold streets of NEW YORK CITY to raise money and awareness for the homeless youth epidemic we have going on. Our streets are filled with homeless Adults but not all of them start out that way. Most homeless people we see started out as homeless kids that had no help and no place to turn to. Almost all of them turn to the only thing they can which is Drugs and alcohol in order to self medicate. We all know that this often leads to addiction which is a nasty and dangerous habit. In order to support this habit our teens turn to stealing and prostitution. I Ask you to help me break this cycle. We can voluntarily help fund homeless shelters and vocational training programs or we can have our tax money continue to fund the jails that they will be placed in after committing these crimes. The reality is we are all one paycheck away from being homeless. It's time that we support our fellow New Yorkers and be the change we want to see. LETS BE PROACTIVE.
