B-24J "Witchcraft" Paint Restoration

Greetings! My name is Chad Kirby and I am the owner of Apex Detailing in Boise, Idaho. I've spent most of my life surrounded by aircraft or working on the airfield. I started Apex Detailing in May of 2016 to provide an aircraft maintainers knowledge and skill in our detail service offerings. Last May I was fortunate to be selected to join an passionate collective detailers from across the country in maintaining Witchcraft's paint. These projects are 100% non-profit, selected volunteer performed and sponsor funded. We at Apex Detailing firmly believe in the importance of maintaining these aircraft of historical significance as they provide subsequent generations a tangible link to history and the ultimate sacrifice so many made in confronting the threat of global evil and tyranny. Apex Detailing is reaching out to the communities for assistance in offsetting or covering our lodging and travel costs from Boise, Idaho to Santa Ana, California to yet again assist in such a wonderful project. Of many of the WWII aircraft that still fly today there are only two airworthy B-24's left in the world. Witchcraft, operated by the non-profit Collings Foundation, is the only combat configured B-24J left still flying. It's part of a living and traveling air museum tour called The Wings of Freedom Tour that flys throughout the US providing an opportunity for the public to learn of these of aircraft and the men and women who made them possible. The roll which they played in the liberation of several countries and taking down axis powers during WWII. We thank immensely for your consideration and support for this project.
