Help Jacob's Leukemia

Jacob is 17 years old and a Junior at Armada High School. He is a great kid who loves playing soccer, working out at the gym and spending time with his family and friends. After a week of what we thought was Stomach Flu, Jacob began having abdominal pain and was taken to Beaumont's Emergency Room in Troy, MI, we were told he had Pancreatitis and was in Kidney Failure. He was rushed via ambulance to the Pediatric ICU at Beaumont Royal Oak. He had extensive diagnostic testing which revealed he has T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma/Leukemia. He has been hospitalized for more than 6 weeks, received Hemodialysis daily for most of that time and has lost 60 lbs. He has been through so much over the past weeks but continues to maintain his polite and positive attitude. Jacob will not be able to return to school this year (he is doing on-line classes), but we are hopeful that he will be able to return for his Senior year in the Fall. We have had such an outpouring of support and prayers throughout this journey, for which we are truly thankful. It is due to the many requests we've received that I set up this GoFundMe page today.
