Hello Friends, fellow rescuers , fosterers, trainers, and animal lovers

If your reading this, It's possible Alicia has profoundly impacted your life whether through the way of your dog, horse or through her Educational Rescue & Rehabilitation programs. Having had my own life changing experience with Alicia along with her personal pack of 10 dogs , her rescued horses & managerie of current rescues and fosters, I felt compelled to share SOME of her story with all of you in hopes for a " Ranch size Miracle ". Alicia, her husband a Marine Corps Veteran and their family of 2 beautiful kids have found themselves in a situation where loosing their ranch & closing the door to their Sanctuary
IN 1 WEEK on December 14th 2016 is looking like a dire, and very real possibility !

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Alicia or her work through " Faithful Dog K9 training " I've included some info below

Alicia's  Work With Canines
Throughout her life time Alicia's rescued and rehabilitated thousands of dogs. In the past year alone , over 200 dogs have been spared the needle because of her rehabilitation work with aggressive and special behavior needs cases. She also provides Training and Behavior consulting services to rescues and shelters that assist fosters, volunteers and new adoptive owners. Her work is vital in keeping "placed" dogs in their homes when problems arise. Countless of homes that would not have previously worked out have been saved because of Alicias dedication and knowledge

9 of 10 dogs from her personal pack were all difficult rehabilitation cases who found a 2nd chance at life & sanctuary at the ranch with Alicia. It was the formation of her pack through their rehabilitation journey which catalyzed the plethora of programs she now uses to work the most high risk, difficult and dangerous cases that would utimately be facing death.

Alicia's Work with Horses
Alicia has not only dedicated her life to helping people & dogs, in the last 2 years alone, she has saved 12 horses from the slaughter pipe line, 3 of which have found "permanent" sanctuary with her at the ranch. These horses have become an integral part of her dog rehabiliation programs and remain an inspiration for future Equine Therapy Programs Alicia has been developing.

If I have learned anything from my work with canines, it's that dogs are a beacon of truth. They are our mirrors and show us even the ugliest of truths surrounding us, and its up to us to open up and listen. It was my spiritual journey for knowledge and peace within myself that brought me to the ranch. There, Alicia shared her knowledge, spirit and ugly truth with me. Though that incredible experience changed my life forever, her dogs, horses and her work speak more for her than I ever could even in writing this.

Due to the devastaing personal nature of her circumstance, I decided to forgo telling many of grueling details that brought her and her family to the point of near financial ruin. It was due to greed on behalf of people she trusted, people that many of us would call " family " that got her in this horrible situation. I decided instead to reach out to the universe in hopes of paying it forward to somebody who has changed the life of so many others as well as my own. I decided to share this in hopes others would do the same.

Alicias Story
Alicias Sanctuary and Home will belong to the bank on December 14th. Despite Hours on the phone with "Veteran affairs, lawyers, and hefty legal fees, It was determined the best course of action to help save their home was too make an offer to the bank above the market value price using a business loan rather than a loan from the "VA". ( Which was their original plan ) Unfortunately the down payment for a business loan far exceeds what Alicia and her family originally planned ,and due to the circumstances as well as time constraint, finances are in dire straint and the size of a downpayment just isnt possible in such a short amount of time. Alicia had always planned to save, and buy the property down the line , and was only made aware of this whole situation just under 2 months ago.
