Hockomock Blues -- A Digital Short

In the early 21st century, Massachusetts was in the throes of one of the worst heroin epidemics in human history. An indiscriminate scourge fueled by faceless profiteers and perpetuated by trusted institutions, the region was brought to its knees. Vast fortunes were amassed as dozens of lives were lost every day. The root causes became more and more complex with every effort to combat them. "Hockomock Blues" invites us to consider the danger of ambivalence through the scope of perpetrators, victims, and the community at large.
