I was diagnosed with ALL - Leukemia last October 2016 during a routine blood test checking on my anemia. After much prayer I followed what the Lord had told me to do. He promised to walk me through this difficult journey and showed me my Bible verse to stand on.....'Be Still and know that I am God'. I was prayed over by my leaders of my church along with our congregation, and my pastor anointed me with oil for healing. I was ready to embark on this journey. After just two treatments I went into remission.....Praise God for His healing. I am now getting ready for a bone marrow transplant (my brother, Bobby, is my identical match) which will take place at Mayo Clinic.
My family has been a great support system. My husband, Joe, and daughters Rebekah and Hannah have been here every step of the way. My extended family has stepped up beyond expected. And my church family has been so wonderful and been there for us all. Joey and I are overwhelmed with all your love and giving. Thank you for everything.
So we have set up this Go Fund Me account as My insurance covers everything EXCEPT my huge $5000 deductible. My husband has been out of work for almost three years now and we have used all our savings, IRA, etc.. up to live the past few years. We do not have this kind of money to pay our deductible. The insurance will not pay Mayo their part until we pay our deductible. So we are asking for help. I am scheduled to have my transplant the last week in February. I would like them to be paid. Mayo is also concerned that we have no savings just in case my medications are not covered and they will be very expensive. So we are looking to raise $10,000 to cover the deductible, any medications I may need that are not covered, and any medical bills leftover that are not covered 100%.
