Angela's Arkansas Adventure!

As most of you know, I have a love for youth ministry. Over the last three years I have spent time volunteering at two different ranches, Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, (located in Bend, Oregon) and Autumn's ReRide Youth Ranch, (located in Bentonville, AR). God has me on a new adventure for 2017, and I am so excited!! In March, or early April, I will be headed to Arkansas to assume the role as "Assistant to the Founders" at ARRYR. My role at the ranch consists of many things: leading mentor sessions, ranch chores, creating videos and managing the ranch YouTube channel, and helping with program development. It's been an amazing experience to be involved in every aspect of the program. Due to low finances at this time, I am purely volunteering, and I will not be getting paid this season. In past years, I was only gone for a few months at a time, so I was able to save money from my paychecks to support myself, pay room & board, etc while I was away. Last year, I held two unpaid internship roles for a total of 9 months between CPYR and ARRYR. Those 9 months were so full! I wouldn't change anything! This year though, my bank account is looking rather sad whencompared to previous seasons. Friends, would you consider supporting me financially this year? After adding up my monthly bills, room board, and travel expenses etc, I'm looking to raise $4,500. This will cover all of my financial expenses from when I arrive in AR until the end of December, 2017.
