Help An Elderly Lady Keep Her Home

Last night, my elderly neighbor, Ernalee came over to deliver a delicious chocolate cake that she had baked for me. (We have exchanged neighborly notions for more than 10 years that we have been neighbors.) As we we're visiting over the cake, she told me that she may have to move to a "retirement home" soon because she can't afford the taxes on her house this year. She lives alone and still drives, cooks, cleans, and goes to church just fine. She is not ready to leave her home and her independence yet. She told me that she would like to stay there as long as God wants her to be there. I think God wants her to be there as long as she is able to care for herself and wants to be there. The taxes are about $1,200 which is a little bit more than my pocket change at this moment so I thought I'd ask for help. Every penny that is received will go to Ernalee. Thanks for reading this.
