Hardship For The Holidays

Donation protected

This holiday season has been extremely difficult for our family. On Dec 14th my mother whom had been on life support, passed, the day after my girlfriend was rushed into an emergency c-section and our daughter, Willow Maureen Crimmins, was brought into this world five weeks early. There had been complications with her pregnancy and the placenta began to rip away from her uterine wall, Willow was delivered successfully but is currently in the NICU. She is being given therapeutic hypothermia treatments (a cooling blanket to bring down her temperature to avoid brain damage) for neonatal encephalopathy. Miranda and I also have a two year old son, whom we've had a hard time buying Christmas presents for with everything going on. Our hope is that I will go back to work, and Miranda and Keagan will be accepted into the Ronald McDonald house in Portland Maine to be close to Willow, while she receives treatment at Maine Medical Center. Our plea to family and friends is for any financial support you can spare. Even if its only a dollar, holidays are hard enough to begin with let alone with such a huge loss and an early baby needing treatment. Anything you can do to help is appreciated. Our family is beyond grateful to at least be safe. Happy holidays from our family to yours.
